Google's One-Minute Guide to Search-Based Keywords
Google has put together a one-minute guide to using its Search-based Keyword tool. The tool was launched just over a year ago in beta. It lets paid search advertisers see what keywords they may be missing out on based on searches on their site.
"Millions of people use Google each day to find products and services by searching on various keywords," says Dan Friedman of Google's Inside AdWords Crew. "This means that by including all keywords that are relevant to your product or service in your campaigns, you can ensure you can ensure that you will reach a greater set of potential customers. To help you do this, you can use the Search-based Keyword Tool to quickly identify relevant keywords which aren't yet included in your AdWords campaigns."
The guide follows:
Earlier this year, Google made some improvements to the search-based keyword tool. The company not only expanded the reach to Australia, Canada, China, Japan, and New Zealand in addition to the US and the UK, but users can also now select the currency they'd like to see suggested bids in on the setting page.
Google also added some customization features to the tool this year that could lead to more targeted results for users. These include language/country-specific results and ad/search share filters.

Kurt Goes Wild on Michael Lucas: "Retarded Bullshit"!
 Kurt Wild got reaaaaaly drunk on Monday and went on YouTube to rant about Michael Lucas.
In the first part of the 10-minute rant, which I have transcribed in its entirety below, Kurt references Lucas' infamous lambasting at the 2009 GayVN Awards of the porn industry for embracing Brent Corrigan as a rising star. Lucas' beef was that, only a couple years previously, Brent had almost gotten a lot of people in trouble for appearing in porns for Cobra Video when he was underage. Here is what Kurt had to say about Michael Lucas: "Okay, it seems that Kurt Wild is ... supposably the drama of this industry. I [beg] to differ. I DO NOTHING BUT MY JOB AND BE A PARENT. And be a lover and a friend, blah, blah, blah. Here's the drama. The drama. Michael Lucas has his, "I wanna be a talk show host, I am better than everyone, I can tell Brent Corrigan who's getting arrested and who's not" attitude. "You see, porn is porn. [Brent] might have been 17, 16, but he was every bit 18 when he did what he did. And yeah, you know what, if he earned an award later on, Michael Lucas had no backing to say any different. [HN9000] "Usage Reporting Tool Temporarily Unavailable"
Hi everyone.
After having a (satisfactory) reinstall done last year to correct my dish's tendency to stray off signal, I've been unable to access the usage page entirely. Whenever I try, I'm redirected to this message:
The usage reporting tool is temporarily unavailable for users of DW3000 and DW4000 model satellite modems.
We are working on repairing this problem. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you do not use a DW3000 or DW4000, you are seeing this message because we do not have usage data for your modem or you have entered an invalid SiteID
Now, the first explanation can be ruled out. I'm using an HN9000. The second explanation--that Hughes has no usage data or that I've entered an invalid SiteID--makes no sense to me. The SiteID I'm using was pulled from my Control Center, so I know that's valid, at least.
Does anyone have any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else? This has gone on for well over six months, and I've gotten tired of waiting for it to resolve itself somehow. I noticed that several others have had this issue in the past, but couldn't find any solutions in the archives.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
